Bali Hai Wedding Photographers with Olivia & Michael.
We are so lucky to do what we do and meet the most awesome couples. But there are definitely some weddings that stand out from others. Oliva & Michael’s Bali Hai wedding is definitely one of the memorable ones. This couple was a blast to get to know. They are from the Boston area and moved here together a few years ago to start fresh. Well, all the friends and family they left behind flew in for this special wedding. We can honestly say we haven’t experienced such a tight group of friends. It really made this wedding so fun, from the getting ready photos to the touching ceremony overlooking the San Diego Skyline. I barely know this couple but teared up several times during this wedding. The first moment was when Olivia came down the aisle with her dad who is in a wheelchair from a bad car accident. Michael cried out loud. It was so honest and touching. The next was the touching toasts from the father of the bride, maid of honor, and best man. The one that really got me was Olivia and her dad’s father daughter. Wow, I don’t know if there was a dry eye there. Olivia sat on her dad’s lap and they laughed and hugged and danced around the floor in his wheelchair. Finally, a touching tribute to a best friend they lost earlier in the year. It was a wedding full of emotions, crazy fun, and so much love from everyone in the room. This fun and emotion is what I wish for everyone planning a wedding.
