Coronado Family Beach Photographer with 2 awesome families. What a fun morning shoot at the beach. I normally shoot at sunset at the beach and was a bit nervous when they wanted a morning shoot. But the good thing is Coronado is a bit south facing. So the sun isn’t directly in their eyes as it would be in other San Diego beach locations. We had a blast doing a mix of posed and candid photos. And when the kids of one family needed a break I switched to the other family. I find that kids at the beach want to run around a bit then they can take 5-10 minutes of photos before they are off again. It keeps it moving smooth and still fun for the whole family. The last thing I want is the parents to be yelling at their kids to smile. I want to make the shoot fun the whole time.
