Del Mar Family Photographer with this cutest family. This was a fun shoot. We started up by the little park near Jake’s restaurant. Which by the way is one of my favorite restaurants. http://www.jakesdelmar.com/ These 2 cuties were so much fun. Although I did get my workout in for the day chasing them around. For the little girl it took a little bit of time and I finally got some smiles out of her playing funny rock games. Sometimes I feel like a clown in family shoots. If I didn’t have kids of my own I probably wouldn’t understand. Luckily having 2 little girls I know how to relate to kids and know you have to distract them and play games and sometimes in shoots let them call the shots. If all else fails during a photo session when the kids are fussy I give them a break and move to a different location and start fresh. That usually works. The cutest idea these parents had was to bring a kite of the dad’s to the beach. The dad has had this kite since he was a little boy. How awesome is it to have photos of this moment.
