I love the holiday time for photographing all these amazing families! This gorgeous one I have known for twelve years. I have been so lucky to watch the kids grow up and they are all adults now. It is crazy!
We did their family photos at Leo Carrillo Ranch in Carlsbad. I love this venue so much! It is a photographer’s dream location. It was built in 1939 for the movie star Leo Carrillo. It was his home and working ranch. It was passed on to the city eventually. In 2003 it opened as a city park. If you haven’t been you really need to check it out. It is so historic and beautiful. There are dozens of wild peacocks walking around which is fun for kids. If you get lucky to find the white peacock you are having a great day! The park holds free walking tours on the weekend and you can even have a wedding or event that holds up to 300 guests. As you can see I love it so much here and love this family!
