Westin Carlsbad Wedding Photos of Madelina and Pablo.
This will be one of those wedding we will definitely remember! I don’t think we have photographed a wedding where the bride and groom were more in love! This sweetest young couple have been together for four years but they still cuddled and looked at each other like it was the first time they said, “I love you!”
Needless to say, they were so fun and easy to be around and photograph! On top of that it was probably our biggest wedding of the year. They had a huge bridal party. There were 12 guys and 12 girls and then a bunch of Junior bridal party and kids. When I arrived at the bride’s house it was definitely already a party! That party continued to the most beautiful church in Oceanside. The priest was a friend of the groom’s dad since high school. So that made it even more touching and special. After a beautiful Catholic ceremony, we were off in three limo buses on our photo stops. We first stopped for a fun photo under the Carlsbad sign. This was tricky. We had 30 seconds to do it between lights but made for a fun party. All the cars around us were honking to say congratulations. It was so fun! We then made a stop at Tamarak Beach in Carlsbad for some beautiful beach photos.
By this time I could tell everyone was getting hungry! It was a long day for this group. So off to the gorgeous reception we went at the Carlsbad Westin-Sheraton in the biggest ballroom they have. This sweetest couple had 400 guests so it was an instant party. The band during cocktail hour and the start of the dinner were perfect. Then the DJ took over. He played the perfect mix of music. Pablo is from Mexico City as well as his family and half of the guests. I can honestly say there wasn’t a dull moment on the dance floor. The night was topped off with a Mariachi Band that the couple surprised the guests with. When we left, the dance floor was packed and they danced into the night! We are so honored that Madelina and Pablo had us document their wedding.
